BIO: Joe is a multi-sport athlete at the 6A level in Central Oregon. As captain of the Summit Storm football team this year, Joe received the Summit Football 2021 Outstanding Leadership Award from the coaching staff and also received the Inspirational Award from his peers. Joe helped lead Summit to their first 6A playoff victories in school history on their way to a 9-3 record overall. He was named all 1st team All-Conference at defensive back and 2nd team All-Conference as a wide receiver. Joe also plays baseball and is a starter on varsity, playing Catcher. He is proud of the fact that he played in the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penssylvania in 2016, a memory he will carry forever. Joe carries a 3.7 GPA and has been accepted to attend 10 different Universities. At the time of this writing, he has not decided which to attend. When not on the field or making sandwiches at Jersey Mike’s, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, leading the Summit Student Section at Summit for basketball, skiing and weight training. This year, Joe participated in the Sparrow Club fundraiser for children in need, (Summit Thunder Pageant) where he and his partner tied for 1st place, and as a group, they raised over $55,000 for Sparrow “Ryder”. Joe is planning on attending college in the fall, where he’s looking to lead and excel on and off the field.
