The 2026 Les Schwab Bowl, presented by Express Employment Professionals, showcased the very best graduating high school football players from across Oregon and Southwest Washington on Saturday, June 27, at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.

In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Team Columbia rallied from an early 13–0 deficit with a dominant second-half performance to defeat Team Willamette, 21–13. The victory marked Team Columbia’s fourth consecutive Les Schwab Bowl win under the current draft format and capped off another memorable chapter in the storied history of the event.

Leading the way for Team Columbia was Silverton High School quarterback Chase Dominguez, who earned Les Schwab Bowl Most Valuable Player honors. Dominguez delivered a standout performance on the game’s biggest stage, helping spark Team Columbia’s comeback and showcasing the talent, leadership, and poise that made him one of the Northwest’s premier high school quarterbacks.

The game also carried special significance for legendary coach Ken Porter, who coached his final game on the sidelines. One of the most respected and accomplished coaches in Oregon high school football history, Porter concluded his remarkable coaching career with a victory, adding one final memorable moment to a legacy that has impacted countless student-athletes, coaches, and communities throughout the state.

More than just an all-star game, the Les Schwab Bowl celebrated a week of competition, camaraderie, and personal growth. Players spent the week learning from accomplished coaches, building friendships with athletes from rival schools, and representing their communities one final time at the high school level.

The 2026 event continued the tradition of showcasing the Northwest’s premier football talent while providing student-athletes with an unforgettable experience that extends well beyond the final score. From outstanding individual performances to lasting memories made on and off the field, the Les Schwab Bowl once again proved why it remains one of the region’s most celebrated high school football traditions.
