BIO: Jace is currently a freshman at Rex Putnam High School. He started on varsity at offensive tackle as a freshman and played every snap throughout the year. He earned 1st team All-Conference honors as a freshman and was one vote short of being the lineman of the year for the 5A Northwest Oregon Conference as a 14-year old freshman. Jace was voted lineman of the year for Rex Putnam. During his freshman season, Jace allowed zero sacks, zero hurries, and zero tackles for a loss. He had 60+ pancakes and took over 100 defenders to the ground in nine varsity games. Jace is currently playing for Ford Sports Performance in Bellevue, Washington. In their first game, Jace played over half the game against Texas PPT Elite, giving up zero sacks and zero tackles for a loss against top nationally ranked defensive lineman in a 63-0 win. He is one of three freshmen on the active roster that combined has over 600 Power 5 full-ride scholarship offers. Jace has been shown interest from most Pac-12 schools along with other Power 5 schools. He has had unofficial visits to the University of Oregon, University of Washington, and Oregon State University with others to come this summer. As a freshman, Jace is young and will continue to put in work on the field, in the weight room and in the classroom. He currently has a 4.0 GPA, is in advanced classes and is on track to complete calculus by his Junior year. Jace is honored to be invited to play in the Les Schwab Bowl as a freshman and compete against many of the upperclassmen that he’s watched and followed over the years.
