BIO: Jacient is a three-sport letterman in football, wrestling and track. He has been a captain for the Sunset Wrestling Team for two seasons. He was also voted team captain by his teammates as a junior this past season. He has been recognized as All-Metro in wrestling, football, and this year, he placed first in the conference for pole vault at Districts. He has earned a trip to the state wrestling tournament for three straight years, played in the OSAA 6A football playoffs, and is headed to the state track and field meet this spring. Jacient is very family oriented. He is the third oldest of four brothers and has grown up around sports his entire life. Along with more traditional sports, he enjoys surfing, rock climbing, skateboarding and hiking. He enjoys playing with and being a mentor to his younger cousins and takes time to engage with people. He is friendly to everyone. Although he is undecided as to a career focus at this time, he is excited to experience everything he can and feels a calling to work with and for people to make a difference.
