BIO: A twelve-time varsity letterman at Henley High School, two-time All-Conference Player of the Year, and one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the state, Shaw Stork brings a diverse set of talents to the Les Schwab Bowl. As one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in all of Oregon, in 2022, Stork was one of few quarterbacks in the state to rush for over 1500 yards in the last two years - going 18-4 as the starting quarterback. The dozen varsity letters over the four years of his high school career were earned in football, basketball, and track. He received All-State recognition twice in football and All-Conference recognition nine times for football, track, and basketball. In March of 2023, he led his team to the state semifinal basketball championship game, where he led the tournament in assists, and was fifth in rebounds. He is also one of the top hurdlers in 4A track and field competition. Stork is also accomplished in the classroom, with a 3.98 GPA in honors curriculum, a member of the National Honors Society, the salutatorian, and class speaker for his graduating class as well as earning scholar athlete honors every semester of high school. He is the president of the SMART (Start Making a Reader Today) Youth Advisory Board, and also earned the Oregon Governor’s Award for service to the community. Shaw is also the president of the “Do Good Gang” Youth Volunteer group, a member of student government, HOSA-Health Occupations Student Association, and was his school’s homecoming king. Stork is an avid chess player, having played in state championships for six years. He has a passion for travel and is a natural adventurer who loves to snorkel, kayak, climb, and hike. His favorite hikes include sections of the Pacific Crest Trail. Shaw plans to study medicine in college and has amassed several scholarship offers from colleges and universities across the country.
