BIO: Gabe was a four-year varsity letterman and a senior leader of the 2018 6A State Championship football team. He was named 1st team All-State, and 1st team all-conference for his performances at inside linebacker. Gabe was also honored as the Moda Player of the Game in the 2018 State Semifinal against Jesuit. In addition to football, Gabe played baseball where he was a three-time varsity letterman for the Lakers. As a senior catcher, Gabe was voted 1st Team All-Three Rivers League and 2nd Team All-State. He was selected to play in the Oregon All Star Series in Corvallis on June 22nd and 23rd. Off the field, Gabe loves to spend time volunteering, and is an active member of his community. He is a four-year member of the National League of Young Men and has been involved in the FED club, which is a student led organization that makes and delivers sandwiches to the homeless community in Portland. Gabe has always been a leader. He was elected Class President his sophomore year and participated in the Peer Mentor Pathways program for special education students. Outside of sports, Gabe enjoys spending time with his family and friends. His hobbies include spending time outdoors, skiing, and traveling. He also loves playing with his black lab puppy named Tillman, named after Pat Tillman, former ASU and NFL linebacker who was killed while fighting in Afghanistan. Gabe plans on attending the University of Oregon in the fall.
