BIO: Elias has already had a long, successful history of sports in Oregon. His journey began with three championship game wins at Autzen Stadium in Pop Warner Football. He owns the 8th grade high jump record for Hedrick Middle School which also earned him the state title for that year. He was a four-time varsity letterman in both football and basketball and a two-time varsity letterman in track. As a junior, Elias was named 2nd team all-conference as a wide receiver and a defensive lineman. He is a versatile athlete having played tight end, linebacker, defensive end, wide receiver, and running back. As a senior, Elias broke a 2005 North Medford school record with 1,991 rushing yards. He also led the state in rushing yards for the regular season and was named 1st team all-conference as a running back. Additionally, Elias set a single-game rushing record at North with 343 yards and five touchdowns. His coaches and team mates voted him as the Offensive Player of the Year, the Most Valuable Player, and the Best Back. Elias was an assistant captain and a captain and a member of student leadership on campus. Outside of school, Elias enjoys hanging out with friends, riding his skateboard, water sports, hunting, and fishing and his Catholic faith provides moral guidance and direction. Elias will be attending Portland State University in the fall to play football for the Vikings.
