Forrest was a three-year varsity letterman in football and a four-year varsity letterman in track at Mountain View High School. In 2018, he was named 1st team all-conference on offense as a wide receiver and 2nd team all-conference as a return man. He also earned honorable mention All-State as a wide receiver. In his senior year, Forrest had over 900 receiving yards, averaging 22.6 yards per carry, six touchdowns and 500 return yards. His impressive stats helped him to be voted Most Valuable Back on Offense by his teammates. Forrest was a part of Coach Crum’s “Captain’s Leadership Council” his sophomore through senior years, was game captain multiple times and earned several Player of the Week and Month awards. In the classroom, Forrest maintained a 3.96 unweighted GPA while taking both dual credit and AP courses. He will graduate with an honors diploma, having earned an academic letter all four years. Off the field, Forrest enjoys being with friends and family, playing basketball, hiking, swimming and being outdoors. During the past three years, Forrest was a volunteer coach at the Mountain View youth football camps. He also spent time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity and at multiple food drives. Forrest will be attending Linfield College in McMinnville to play football and run track for the Wildcats.
