Colton earned eight letters as a three-sport athlete at McMinnville High School. In football, he was a three-year starter who earned all-conference honors each year. He was a two-time pick for his team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player award. In 2017, Colton had the 2nd highest number of receiving yards in the state and in 2018 he led the state in receiving yardage and receptions. In his final two years, Colton scored 39 touchdowns. In baseball, he was an all-conference pick in 2018 and was named his team’s Most Valuable Player. Colton maintained a 3.7 GPA and was a participant in the “Mission Mac High” which is a club that raises money through service activities and a talent show for Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. Off the field, he enjoys water sports, snowboarding, fishing, hiking, spending time with his family and friends, and volunteering at Memorial Elementary School where his mother teaches. Colton will attend Linfield College this fall to play football for the Wildcats.
