BIO: Tyson is a three-time letterman in football, four-time letterman in track and field and one-time letterman in basketball at Thurston. As a senior, Tyson was named a 1st team All-State wide receiver, honorable mention All-State defensive back, the co-Offensive Player of the Year in the Midwestern League, 1st team all-conference defensive back and honorable mention all-conference kicker. He also set the school records for receiving yards in a game (240 yards), career receiving yards (2,017) and career touchdowns (36). Off the field, Tyson won 3rd place in the 2017 5A state track meet in the high jump as well as playing on the 2018 5A state champion basketball team. Next year Tyson will attend and play football at Portland State University.
