BIO: Kyle was a multiple sport athlete, proficient student, and National Honor Society member who will be completing high school with a 3.8 GPA. His first passion is football, which began at a very young age playing flag. Kyle moved to Bend in 2013, started high school at Summit and made an immediate impact as a freshman in both Football and Basketball. He was awarded the MVP and Most Valuable Offensive player on his freshman football team and also contributed on Varsity as a receiver and kick returner – earning a Varsity letter. In Basketball he earned a starting spot due to his ability to score, great defense and experience playing for Team Concept - his AAU team in Portland. Throughout his high school career, Kyle continued to rack up the accolades for his abilities. In football, he has been recognized as a unanimous 1st team all-conference pick at wide receiver, punter, and defensive back. He has earned State recognition as a receiver and defensive back. In basketball, he was a four-year starter and played a huge role in winning Summit’s first conference championship and qualifying for the State Tournament in Corvallis the last three years. He was recognized as Summit’s Most Valuable Defensive Player and holds the program’s “Top Five” best three point shooting percentage. His speed and athleticism easily transfers to track and field, where he earned two varsity letters and qualified for State (2016) in the 100m and javelin. Aside from athletics, Kyle has a deep passion for kids with disabilities and special needs. He volunteers a lot of his time working with these kids, namely in adaptive sports. Other volunteer activities level, include coaching youth clinics and officiating youth football. He is looking forward to competing at Western Oregon University in the fall while working towards a degree in the field of Education.
