Tristan earned his single varsity football letter during his senior year, and first year ever playing football. Originally a competitive soccer player, Tristan was approached by Coach Boyer and presented with an opportunity to kick for the football team. He began training full force to become Beaverton’s future kicker. Tristan trained with kicking coaches, and personal trainers to hone his skills over the summer. He continued to train with his soccer team and play in games weekly as well. Very quickly Tristan’s passion for football began to grow. He attended his first ever kicking camp in July of 2016, and tied for 1st place in their competition. Tristan’s hard work paid off as he helped Beaverton earn a spot in the state playoffs this past fall. He received Beaverton’s 2016 Special Teams Player of the Year and was named an All-State 2nd team kicker. Tristan also earned Metro League honors as a 1st team place kicker, and a 2nd team punter. Though Tristan has always loved soccer, football has added a new passion into his life. He is still undecided on where he will attend college but would love to play football wherever he ends up.
