BIO: Malik was a three-time varsity letterman in football and basketball at Central Catholic High School in Portland, Oregon. He received honorable mention from the Mt. Hood Conference both his junior and senior seasons. Central Catholic won the 6A State Championships in 2014 and 2015, coming in 2nd in 2016. Malik was named the Defensive MVP at the University of Oregon football camp in 2015, and Most Valuable Tight End in the 2016 camp. These were two of his proudest moments in his football career. Off of the field, Malik was a member of the Central Catholic leadership council, the African American Student United club, and the American Sign Language club. In his spare time, Malik volunteers with the Catholic Youth Organization Holy Redeemer Club, and the Salvation Army of Portland. Malik enjoys playing video games, going to the movies, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Malik is the song of Sonora (McDuffie) Thirdgill, and Duray Thirdgill. He has two siblings, brother Vaughn (24), and sister Tamia (13). Malik will attend Portland State University in the fall on a full ride football scholarship.
