BIO: Jarred follows in his father, (Chad Daul, Oregon City ’89) and uncle’s, (Ben Buchanan, Banks ’89) footsteps as Les Schwab Tires Bowl participants. He was a three-time varsity letterman for the Crusader’s and as a junior, won the 6A State Championship title. Jarred was named 1st team All-Metro League, and All-State Honorable Mention for offensive line. This past season as a senior, the Crusader’s captured their 4th consecutive Metro League title. Jarred’s hard worked earned him 1st team All-Metro League offensive and defensive line. He was also named 1st team All-State offensive line, and 2nd team All-State defensive line. Jarred and his twin brother Joel, known as the “Wall of Daul”, were awarded Jesuit’s Linemen of the Year award. Jarred helped captain his team and was also awarded Metro League All-Academic awards the last two years. In addition to football, Jarred was a three-time letterman for the state ranked Jesuit lacrosse team. He was named 2nd team All-Metro for defense. Jarred is an honor roll student with a 3.7 GPA. He is also a Jesuit Ambassador and encounter group leader. His Christian service projects have included volunteering at multiple retirement communities, and working for the Portland Police Bureau’s Sunshine Division since he was big enough to carry food boxes. Jarred enjoys hanging out with his family and friends on the water, mountain or any sporting venue. He believes his CYO basketball career was undiscovered. In the fall, Jarred will attend Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island. He will continue to play football and plans on studying a combination of engineering and economics.
