NAME: Tyler Martell
SCHOOL: Sheldon
BIO: Coach Martell has been an assistant at Sheldon High School, his alma mater, for the last 15 seasons. He has spent the last seven years as the defensive coordinator in which time the Irish played in the 6A state title game twice, in 2018 and 2022. During the 2022 season, Sheldon gave up a 6A best 100 total points (7.7 PPG). Tyler played in the 2008 Les Schwab Bowl game as a member of the South team. In addition to coaching football, he is an assistant baseball coach and teaches math at Sheldon.
