Coach Mott has been coaching football for 14 years. The last 10 have been at Estacada as the head coach. Prior to that he was an assistant at Rainier and Corbett. As an assistant, he was part of the Rainier staff that won the 2010 3A State Championship. During the past 10 years at Estacada, Coach Mott has taken the Rangers to the playoffs eight times including two trips to the state semifinals and most recently winning the 2022 4A State Championship; the first in Estacada's school history. He has been named Tri-Valley League Coach of the Year four times, and 4A State Coach of the Year this past season. Coach Mott lives in Eagle Creek, Oregon with his wife Jessie, who is also a teacher and coach where they have three daughters, Keenie (eight), Millie (six), and Addlie (three). In addition to coaching, Mott also serves as Estacada High Schools Athletic Director.
