Coach Guenther just finished his 24th year of coaching and 13th year as head coach at Wilsonville High School. Most recently, Guenther has led the Wildcats to a Northwest Oregon Conference Championship and a State Championship appearance last year. Guenther is a six-time Northwest Oregon Conference Coach of the Year and this will be his 6th time coaching in the Les Schwab Bowl All-Star game. His teams have made the playoffs all 13 years amassing a 115-31 record (four quarterfinals, three semi-finals, three state-finals and one undefeated season). Guenther was an All-State center in Great Falls, Montana and played in that state's East-West Shrine Game. Following high school, Guenther played linebacker for legendary coach Tom Smythe at Lewis & Clark College. Guenther currently teaches and lives in Wilsonville with his wife Carey, daughter Peyton (Oregon State Graduate), son Colby (Oregon State) and their dogs “Buddy” and “Max”.
