NAME: Eric Mahlum

BIO: After playing football at the University of California, Coach Mahlum had a brief NFL career before he began his 18-year coaching career. He’s been with Liberty High School for the last 16 years and has been the head coach for the past 11. He’s been named conference Coach of the Year four times and has led the Falcons to three conference championships (2014, 2015, 2018) and three state quarterfinals. In addition to coaching, Mahlum works at Liberty High School as a social studies and technology teacher. He resides in Portland with his wife Becky.
