BIO: Coach Pyne has been at the helm of Central Catholic since 2003 and has compiled a 133-44 (.751) record overall. During his tenure (through 2016), the Rams are 86-12 (.878) in the Mt. Hood Conference. The Rams won conference championships in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 & 2016. In 2013, the Rams won the 6A State Championship for the first time since 1953. In 2014, the Rams repeated as 6A State Champions. In 2016, the Rams returned to the State Championship game and were state runner-ups. In his time at Central Catholic, Coach Pyne has been fortunate enough to have coached three current NFL Players. Brennan Scarlett (Houston Texans), Alex Balducci (Washington Redskins) and Ryan Nall (Chicago Bears). 2017 will mark Coach Pyne’s 30th year in high school coaching in both Oregon and Idaho. Prior to coming to Central Catholic, he coached four seasons at Wilson High School compiling a 21-17 (.552) record and winning a P.I.L. championship in 2002. His career record is 154-61 (.716). He and his wife, Erica, have two children, Zach ‘16 and Allison ‘17.
