NAME: Joe Polamalu

BIO: Coach Polamalu will begin his 5th year next season leading the football program at Sandy High School. Prior to arriving at Sandy in 2013, he spent 14 years coaching at Douglas High School in Winston, Oregon (the last 5 years as head coach). While at the helm at Douglas, they went to the playoffs every year, reaching the Oregon 4A State Finals in 2010. Coach P has mainly worked on the Defensive side and primarily with linebackers as a position coach. Sandy won league last season (last league title was 1995). Coach P is a 1991 OSU Football Alum. He is a dedicated husband to his wife Trish, and proud father of four wonderful children Megan, Paul, Iosefa and Talati.
