Darren McCarty has been coaching high school football all over the Portland/Metro area for over 30 years. Currently, he serves as the Defensive Coordinator for the West Linn Lions, where he has been for the last 7 seasons. He is extremely proud of their team for winning the State Championship this past season and going 14-0. Darren played football at Oregon City High School and Lewis and Clark College, where he was an all-American Linebacker. Darren has been married to his wife, Kellie, for 15 years, and they have two great kids, Conner and Sydney. When he is not on the football field, Darren can be found working at Horizon Airlines or spending time with his family. Darren would like to thank his mentors, Ron Chappell, Chris Miller, and his dad, Don McCarty, for all of the opportunities they have provided to him and for encouraging his passion for the game.
