NAME: Ty Tomlin
SCHOOL: Lebanon
BIO: Ty grew up in Lebanon attending school and playing multiple sports, including football, at Lebanon High School. After graduation he had the great opportunity to play college football at the University of Oregon where he played outside Linebacker. Ty graduated from U of O in 2002 with a history degree. Later on he received his Master’s in Education at Western Oregon University. After college Ty began his coaching career in 2002. He has coached at several high schools from Sprague, Rex Putnam, West Salem, and now Lebanon. Ty has also had the opportunity to coach baseball at all levels in these same high schools. His parents are Don and Peggy who live in Lebanon. He has an older sister Tait who lives in North Carolina and a twin brother T.J. who is the head football coach at Newberg High school and lives in Salem. Ty and Jennifer have just recently been married and he has two step sons Jake and Trent. Ty teaches Government, Weights, and AVID at Lebanon high school.
