Coach Warren has been coaching football for the last 19 years. He started at Lincoln High School three years ago after several stops, including 12 years as an assistant coach at Bellevue High School in Washington. In addition to recording seven State Championships, Coach Warren was named Kingco Conference Assistant of the Year, and Washington 3A District II Assistant of the Year, both in 2009. After he moving to Lincoln, he has earned several honors including 2014 PIL Assistant Coach of the Year, 2015 PIL District Coach of the Year (for all sports), and Oregon 6A State Coach of the Year in 2015. In 2015 and 2016 he led the Cardinals to back-to-back Portland Interscholastic League Championship victories. He resides in Portland with his wife Aly, and their one year old son, Xavier.
