NAME: Bob Boyer

BIO: Coach Boyer is a proud graduate of Beaverton High School (‘85) where he played Football, Wrestled and competed in Track & Field all four years. He then attended Portland State University where he played Football and also competed in Track & Field. As an All-Conference Defensive Lineman, he participated in two D-II National Championships Games. After completing a Degree in Exercise Science he came to BHS as a Track coach in '90 and joined the football staff the following year. Later, he earned a Master’s Degree in Special Education, becoming a teacher at Beaverton in 1994. He has been the head coach for the Beavers for 15 years, earning Metro Coach of the Year five times. Coach Boyer has been married to his high school sweetheart, Jana, since 1996 and has two wonderful children, Ryland (20) and Celia (18).
